Default Miracles waiting to happen

This link highlights Stem Cell Research in Israel, which is apparently not hampered by ethical issues.

This is great! Way to go Dr. Reubinoff.
However, I think they are getting the cart ahead of the horse. I have a question that is never talked about in these type of articles. In Parkinson's we know that the cells that produce the neurotransmitter dopamine are being killed off for some reason. If we implant new cells won't they be killed off also? We need to fix the problem before implanting the cure.

Default The race

Greg: The way I understand it, is that the damage to brain cells in PD happens very slowly and takes many many years ..so if they succeed to plant stem cells one day, it will overtake the death process ... let us pray they will succeed , if not for us let it be fo future generations
