I just have to say..
That i believe that you are a "very real" person, vertigo. Let me explain. Over the years some people have shown up on "neurotalk" or "braintalk" as it used to be known, and were not genuine people. Do you know what i mean? Some people find that the internet is place where they can "play games" with honest people's minds, where they take trust and friendship as emotions upon which they can "pretend" to want to engage in, but their real meaning is something very bad; they want to gain your trust, just so they can "ruin it" by all of a sudden saying mean things meant from their cruel hearts to hurt you. I think you get the message. We call these bad people "trolls", and yes , they "hide under the bridge" until the moment when they find you at your weakest and then "turn on you".
Well, we have gathered a group of people here who are not trolls (at least we believe that there are many good-hearted , well-meaning people here, who's only reason for being here is to make life easier (if they can, in any way) for the person who shares the terrible disease of parkinsons. You seem to be a very good person, who would only wish someone else well, and not have any other "bad reasons" for being here. I, for one, deeply respect that in a person, and am very happy that you have made the descision to join us. Maybe you are still wondering why i am saying these words to you. Well, if you are, private message some of the people you have met, and trust here, they may be able to explain it better than i can. In the mean time, I lift my beer in salute to you, and say something like "Skoll", which I think is a Norwegion or maybe Swedish greeting that means to extend friendship and long life. Am I right? cs |
Hello Vertigo Its nice to put a face with a name. We get to know each other because we have something in common. Parkinson's Disease isn't good but I am glad there are others out there to share my journey with. I like the colour yellow because it is like the sun. It is warm, bright and happy. I thought you might like to see a picture of me with my new granddaughter Ella. She is almost 3 weeks old, what a joy to have grandchildren.
