In Remembrance
|
My favourite dream story was I was in a TV programme called The Gladiators, where you have to compete against a muscular team of heavies in various games.
I dreamt that on a signal, I had to run down a road, lined both sides with Gladiators holding shields. They had to fan across the road and form a wall blocking my entry, using their shields. I ran like fury, but they were quicker than me, and the wall was complete before I got through the gap. I thought "I will try and leap over the wall of shields", and made a gigantic leap. However as I cleared the wall, I felt a hand grab my ankle and thought, "Oh no, they have got me. Then I woke up on the floor on the other side of the bed, with my wife clutching my ankle!!! From a position lying down on my back, I had leapt over the double bed and my my wife, who had grabbed my ankle as I sailed past. Yet I take no overnight tablets and was "off" (whatever that means!!)
