Default Greener Pastures

Sometimes I have a lot of dystonia then I see posts like Tena's that tell of excruciating pain.

Sometimes I can’t remember things I should then I read posts like Karl’s where he went totally blank.

Sometime I get stiff from being cold and I see where it is much colder in Vicky’s neck of the woods.

Sometimes I get aggravated with my family then I read posts of Ol’cs, maryfrances, and Harley and thank God for the support of my family.

Sometime I get a little dysk then I read posts from others who can’t function at all
because of it.

Sometimes I get frustrated and don’t want to go to work then I read posts of those who long to be back on the job or have the income from steady work.

Sometime I have a hard time typing then I read where it took someone over an hour to type in a message.

Sometimes I have a hard time walking then I read a post about freezing and can’t imagine not being able to move.

Sometimes I feel low then I read about the severe depression many of you suffer.

Sometimes I wish I could travel more (in Alaska it has to be via air) then I read where others have a hard time getting to their doctors

Sometimes I wish I could stay awake longer in the evening then I read of so many who can’t get any sleep.

We always tend to look for the greener grass across the fence but maybe it is geener in our own pasture.

Thank you all for being here and sharing a part of your lives with me.

Sometimes i wonder why I still come here-seems like I've said everything I have to say

Then someone posts something nice like you just did

That was one of the nicest I've ever read.

thank you Dale,
paula

Exclamation hey Dale...

My dear Dale!
I have been wondering about you, are you ok sometimes?

do not worry about pain just pray for those of us
-when you think about us
do not put yourself in the mindset of pain, okay?
and I will continue praying for you, this is why I am here, I suppose,
sometimes I wish I knew what my purpose was/is here on earth,
but we're still here, which means God ain't done with us yet...

and there is no little missions, except mine must be top secret - from me?
some do not believe in God and I can't believe their isn't,
but I respect people's individualities and I enjoy them for their differences ...

I just read a lovely poem

Shepherd of peace
breathe wisdom into our prayers
soothe our hearts with hope
show us your way along lifes path
enlighten our everystep...
and show us how to love one another

take care dear Dale...
your friend,

Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and the wrong. Sometime in your life you will have been all of these.

Default Alaska sounds colder than MN.

Dear Dale,

I have never been written in a poem before. Thank you for the honor. My favorite and best friend's name is Dale. I gave his daughter clarinet lessons and she played in the top band at St. Olaf college here in MN. all four years she attended. She has taken over playing for the theatres I used to play for. By the way, today's windchills were -30 here last night.

Your poem truly speaks to the ingratitude I show to my family a great deal of the time. I know I am doing it and apologize when it happens. I find my ability to control my emotions is no longer under my control and find my judgement is impaired. Sometimes the hardest person to forgive is ourselves.

Peace to You,
Vicky
