another late arrival

But my regimen is so screwy that it may not help much. I rely mainly on requip and pad it out with Sinemet CR 50/200s. Rather than trying to list my own I think it is more appropriate to emphasize the importance of each individual figuring out what works for them. You aren't going to have much luck with a schedule prescribed by the doc who will see you again in six months. You and Doreen are going to have to trial and error it.

Keep in mind that there is a circadian rhythm at work, too. Receptor sensitivity changes through the day. The goal is to get the levels above a certain line on the graph and keep them just above it through the day. It is kind of like driving a car that is low on gas in hilly terrain. You want to maintain a constant speed but you have to revise your foot position on the accelerator in response to the hills because you only have a certain amount of gas or sinemet.

I am leaning more and more toward trying to use mucuna as a "background" drug and use the "real" meds to deal with the hills. Worth a try anyway.
