I wonder too if this has more to do with people that take it because of Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) instead of for Parkinson's. The people with just RLS don't have a dopamine deficiency problem like us so are therefore more susceptible to these kind of side-effects. John |

and feel that the dosage versus individual physiology is more complex.
I know our brains are all roughly the same but surely our body mass differs widely and this must affect drug absorption. I am 6ft 1 inches tall, weigh 215 pounds, (all muscle of course !! ), surely my reaction to 1mg of Mirapex is different to that of a 5 foot, 120 pound female. I mentioned this to my Neuro some time ago and he said he hadn't really considered it. Am I right or wrong in this belief that "body mass" affects PD drug absorption and distribution ? Neil. |
