Default Aspartame

I'm sure to all of you, this is a dead horse and are sick to death of discussing it, but I'm just beginning to be introduced to the aspartame issue....any direction, comments, thoughts, links, etc.....??

very good and detailed.

I think it is about time a publicity stunt was pulled to get this into the mass media....

like blocking a major motorway...for example.

the fod lobby has a vast number of lobbyists fighting for their vast profits...

2 years ago a father dressed up in a batman costume got into buckingham palce and got massive publicity for very little effort...

think about it.

he was championing fathers rights over their kids after a divorce

I just want to tell you about a sweetener I have been using for about 20 years. It is liquid Stevia and comes in a little bottle with a bottle. It is made from the Stevia Plant. Very concentrated-takes 20 drops in a huge pan of water to make oatmeal for family. My kids never complained. I used to make their kool-aid with it.

There is a powdered sweetener out now from the Stevia Plant-I saw it advertised on TV-plan on trying it-called Truvia, I believe.

At the health food store, there were 2 types of Stevia-one was bottled by the health food chain. I tried theirs once (half price). It got "cakey" after a while-kind of crystalized.

I love my diet soda, so am really rethinking my consumption of it, but I just don't have a taste for regular soda. My Rheumatologist just told me Tues to lay off the Aspartame, so I've been drinking maybe one a day now. It's getting so your'e afraid to eat or drink anything anymore. *sigh*

Default Ever stop to think about WHY you love that diet soda?

Think about it. Despite all the scary stuff it does (and, boy, does it ever) you can't let it go. There are a lot of us who would recognize that in ourselves as being a big warning of addiction. It seems to make you feel good, doesn't it? Better than water? Lemonade? etc

Why? Because it speeds up your brain the way nitro does an auto engine. Saw you were a NASCAR fan. Run one engine nomally and another with a nitro kit - how many miles will each rack up before turning into scrap?

"This is your brain going into the turn at Bristol..."
