Default Fund raising event in Chicago, March 1st.

The research group led by Brinda Desai at Rush University, Chicago are holding a fund raising event. This group published an excellent paper on the role of the BBB in PD. See
Cell Transplantation, Volume 16, Number 3, 2007, pp. 285-299(15).
Brinda S. Desai, Angela J. Monahan, Paul M. Carvey. Bill Hendy.

It is expensive, but details are below.
The Event is called the Emerald Ball being hosted by the Rush University Medical Center Graduate College Student Council on March 1, 2008 at the Marriott Hotel (625 S Ashland Ave, Chicago, 60607). Cocktail hour is at 6pm (open bar for one hour). Dinner is at 7pm (3 course) followed by dancing. Tickets are $100/person. There will also be a silent auction (items range from $100-$600 so far) going on during the event. We expect check or charge for tickets or donations. Contacts are Michael_Bradaric@rush.edu via email and 312-563-2659 (Angela Monahan) via phone. We also have several sponsors including VWR ($5,000), Cynthia Bauer Sotheby's International Realty ($5,000), Coldwell Banker ($1,000), Greiner Bio-one ($1,000), Marriott ($500) and James Thomas O'Donnell Pharmaconsultant Inc ($500).

Sounds wonderful Ron. Most of us have to be sponsored to attend events like that but we are bundles of information...could maybe help some with our own money,''-

CoulD I more obvious. You know where we are if you have any free tickets.

Sounds so fun..have a good time, sniff...
