Yes, his New Yorker article is an inspiration as much for the spikey wit and vivid sense of drollery as it is for the deeper sense of confronting one's mortality. 15 years into PD and still able to rock quite a few politicians' boat. May he live long and prosper. Another article describing his experience of DBS is entitled Yes, It Really Is Brain Surgery. You can find the url on Google.
