hhhhhmmmmmm

here i sit, pondering what exactly i feel about this pride stuff. Too much pride is supposedly not a good thing. im thinkin it depends on what it is the pride is derived from and how it is used. one the one hand, pride can inflate a head to being a grotesque and out of perportion cyclops creature that has only one eye looking only one direction.. "what to trample to get what my needs are" the other eye was left in the dust next to the crossroad where pride met with selfishness and dignity. the wrong turn is hard to judge and i know from experience that being half blind doesnt make it easy to find your way back to that crossroad.

On the other hand, pride is essential for survival. what is the point of carrying on day to day if one doesnt feel their contribution to life on this planet is valuable. Dont get me wrong here, i am not saying that what we do is who we are and people need to pay attention. no no no. I am saying what we do is what we do with pd.. and WE need to pay attention. "Hey! I folded laundry today!" may sound mundane to the masses who dont understand what it means to those of us that at times have difficulty buttoning up a shirt. i find myself rejoicing when i vacumm the floor and it becomes party time when i sweep and mop! that is pride. that is healthy.

i see nothing wrong with being proud of what we do. i know many things i have done have seemed kinda bizarre. (such as having about a bizillion parkiejam sites goin.. chuckle).. but at least i can say i am trying. and i am proud of myself for that.
