Thanks for this, I use to subscribe to The New Yorker before I started moving around after retirement. Having pd is so expensive that you have to cut back some of your fave. things. I miss it. I just love some of their cartoons. This article was a treat.

Michael Kinsley is interviewed on NPR about this article. I thought the article's perspective was incredibly accurate!
