I know it's kind of silly, but the symbolism still strikes me as fire today on the Universal Studios back lot destroyed the "Back to the Future" town square set, and damaged "the famous clock tower that enabled star Michael J. Fox's character to time travel," as reported in this A.P. story:

I guess there's no going back in time or moving forward for any of us without the present day help of Michael's foundation (thank you, MJFF!).
