Two Central Michigan University psychology professors are currently conducting research on a capsule that has the potential to alleviate symptoms associated with Parkinson's, Huntington's and Alzheimer's disease.

Cerise Nutraceuticals, LLC acquired a grant that allowed the company to hire two members of CMU's psychology department - Gary Dunbar and Justin Oh-Lee - to test out their product, Total Body Rhythm, which contains all natural ingredients.

"Nutraceuticals are natural compounds," Dunbar said. "It's like taking a combination of vitamins."

The capsule is compiled of concentrated forms of antioxidants cherry powder and omega 3, 6 and 9 fatty acids.
