I'm almost afraid to comment on this one. I've been taking mostly Mucuna to treat my PD for over 18 months now. And yes, it did turn this 54 year old crippled old fart into a horny little bastard. My wife at the time didn't seem to mind at all. I was like a 18 year old. But it didn't cause me to check out my neighbor's wife or become unfaithful. It'll will definitely get you "up" in the morning, afternoon, evening and night. Just kidding. Mucuna is a feel good herb. It just so happens to be good for calming down and reducing our pd symptoms too.

you had what you were looking for right at home... for some of us it isn't that simple, and I might even say it's a bit of a nuisance. I have no interest in being "unfaithfull" to anyone, but I thought it was interesting that I suddenly became a bit "prowley". It caught me off guard, but didn't take me long to figure out.

This morning I took a much smaller dose...and nada. I havn't tried the mucana-aide in a bottle yet. Nor have I downed it with my traditional tonic, diet coke.

Even with the aid of mucuna (feeling like an 18 year old) didn't prevent my wife of 33 years from leaving me. That was 7 months ago. She had a harder time dealing with my pd than I did. She found someone else and I'm happy for her.

Life goes on.

I'm wondering how long you have been using the tincture - and how much?
- I'm thinking from your recent posts that its a relatively recent addition for you. I've been using primarily mucuna - in powder form - for over 2 1/2 years - and not until recently did I notice this curious - and actually somewhat marvelous effect under (hilarious) discussion here.
It's inspired me to think about a line of "Macuna Madnness" T - Shirts - or maybe Sleeepwear?? .... The possibilitiies are endless: Legume Love, Bean Buddies, Kapi Kacchu Kisses - and my personal favorite - Ready Willing & Disabled.
Maybe you and Paula could wear them when on the prowl?

our dr who is also a good friend has looked at this thread and is going to do a little research of his own. he is a DO, not an MD, he is more open to alternative meds imo.

hubby doesn't have pd, so it is the change to the dopamine levels that we wondered about. if taking it would help the plmd ( periodic limb movement disorder...kinda like restless legs but way worse in movements. they are repetative and can last all night)
