With better information, it doesn't seem to me to be necessary to hang out in Seattle, so I suggest Thursday evening in Port Orchard. Laura Jean, I'm still knee deep in family and will try to call later on today.

Hi All,
I live in Pullman, which isn't terribly far from Spokane. Then again, some people find it hard to believe that we have to drive 80 miles before we get to the closest interstate highway. My son will be starting at EWU in Cheney this fall. He just finished his AA degree, so he's starting as a junior. I would love to meet others from Washington. Too bad I didn't see this sooner. But, then again, I'll be traveling to St. Louis for a reunion of my wife's family at the same time you all plan to get together. Perhaps us Eastern Washington folks could plan a dinner or something. We're used to the Spokane trip because that's where my neurologist is. We're thinking of moving to Spokane in a few years when our youngest finishes high school--she's a junior this fall. Karl |

Harley - So sorry! I've been "otherwise occupied" - I don't think I can make the dinner tonight because my daughter is using my car this summer for work in Seattle and my usual back-up vehicle is not available. Even if I had a car, Gig Harbor is soooooo faaaaar - 100 miles from my house (Port Orchard even further), and I have exceeded my gas budget already this month.
I haven't talked this week to Jaye, but I hope to be able to see her as she travels further north. I wish I could be there with you guys - say hi to Marcie and Tom.
