Parkinson's help available at open day

AN OPEN day is set to shed light on a debilitating disease.
The Parkinson's Disease Society is holding the information day to provide people with advice on a range of issues related to living with the neurological condition.

People will be able to drop in any time between 10.30am and 2pm, on Friday, July 18, to get information.

Visitors will have an opportunity to meet members of the Parkinson’s Disease Society Peterborough branch, information and support worker Emily Avery, and the Parkinson’s Disease nurse specialist Carolyn Noble, so that they can find out how to receive help.

Local agencies will be joining the charity to offer advice on a range of issues, ranging from health and social care to welfare benefits.

Refreshments will be available on the day.

The event takes place at The Fleet, in Fleet Way, Fletton, Peterborough on Friday, July 18. Entry is free.
