Bonnie,

I'm not at all familiar with Canada, but is there any way that you could get to a major universty hospital? The neurosurgeon who did my DBS is Canadian. He is at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, MD. You need to see someone who is competent and who won't give up on you. PM me if you need more information.

Thanks Mary.

Some good news; my girlfriends granddaughter pulled through and her white cell blood count is on it's way down. It appears that they got it all, truly a miracle because when she was admitted no one knew what was wrong. A surgeon had one look at her wound and said get this girl in OR right now.

I telephoned a physical trainer and I am going to see someone at the pain management clinic asap. Tomorrow I have a massage booked. Still hanging in there...........by my fingernails sometimes.

Taking supplements has paid off. My natural-path told me I am very healthy internally for some who has been on pd medications for 11 years. Liver and Kidneys are good and the only thing I am lacking is Vitamin D.

If I need some more info I will PM you. Thanks for the offer.

Mary, I do go to a Movement Disorder Clinic (or did) at the University of Vancouver. World renown.

Good luck with your CNA program, Evonne.

Your neuro sounds like a pip! The first guy I saw ignored the symptoms and said I had focal dystonia even though the Sinemet worked 100% the first time. It was like he made up his mind at the first visit. You are definitely entitled to a second opinion, so don't take this personally.

I'll pray for your car to hold up a little longer. My car is going on 9 years now and is beginning to have little snoogies once in a while that cost more and more to repair. It's paid for so I'm not complaining, but like you when the repair bills come in, they hurt!

John

Thanks for your kind words.
