Okay, Here's a poll, -
How many of you are taking coQ10, and at what level? 300 mg? 1200mg? It's expensive, but is suppose to slow down the progression of PD. Where do you buy it from? The health store , or the intenet? Who gets the best deal. I'll start. I take 1200 mg. Internet site $22.59 for 60 softgels ( 400 mg each ) Do the math = $ 1.13 per day. Perhaps together we will find the best place to buy from. Dan |

Hi Dan
Based on my last purchase my details are as follows: 1200 mg per day Internet site $1.34 per day ($267 for 600 softgels of 400 mg each) I order in large quantities as I am in Australia and order from the USA but still can't match your price. I have been buying COQ10 for nearly 5 years and find that the price fluctuates according to special offers etc. I have tried 2 different suppliers and the lowest price that I have ever managed to get was earlier this year when I got the equivalent of $1.22 per day. I take relatively low doses of CoQ 10 (400 mg/day) - too expensive. I'm relying on Creatine (10 mg.day), Dynacirc (10 mg/day), Low dose naltrexone (4.5 mg/day), curcumin (~1200 mg/day), and recently inosine (4000 mg/day) to prevent progression. This mix has worked for about 7 months, and at least individually, the meds/supplements are cheaper than CoQ 10.

I take 2 x 400 mg of CoQ10 a day, plus one Ubiquinol 100 mg. The latter reputedly has greater bio-availabilty, though I'm not sure whether that premise is hype or results of clinical tests. I buy both from Swanson's via the internet. $15 for 30 CoQ10, $24 for 60 Ubiquinol.
