I found a list in one of my journals that had the title "natural highs" and I listed nearly 50 things (took two columns) that I have experienced that were just highs that came unexpectedly, or expectedly, and some that were personal accomplishments. I won't post the whole list, but here's ten of mine, in no particular order and carryng no particular weight in terms of placement on the list;
1. First Kiss 2. Fresh cinnamon buns still warm from the oven 3. sharing a blanket with my best friend 4. holding hands 5. Red Candy apples 6. laughing till you cry 7. lying in bed listening to the rain outside 8. Getting an A on my Essay 9. Passing my drivers test 10. New shoes It was really fun reviewing my list (which I wrote some time ago and had forgotten about) It was a bit of a natural high to remember all those good things. Share some things that qualify as a natural high in your life. Sometimes life is good...very good! ...J

Or how about listening to the most beautiful music ever written and have the goose bumps rise up and the body tingle all over. Beethoven's 4th and 5th piano concertos do this to me. I heard the 5th concerto (The Emperor) in a live recital a couple of years ago. I was so over come with joy, I felt like I was floating.
