In the cincinnati enquirer today, Nov 2, an article concerning the firing of a sports commentator by clear channel included the information that the Mays family is negotiating for the company to be taken private by a group of investors for 18.5 billion $$. The "guess" made for the firing right now is the impending sale of the radio giant. It is reported the company is afraid that A bengals football player may sue both clear channel and the commentator. A Miami Univ communications professor made the obvious observation "if you're for sale , or if you're buying a company, you don't want to have any liability on the horizon"
anything short of suing to help our cause???? Headquarters are reported to be in San Antonio, Tx. |

I really wonder if there is a conglomerate of lawyers out there who would take on the government and the pharmaceutical industries on behalf of patients.
Maybe the lawyers feel they are too close to politics as a potential for themselves to even consider it. While the others feed off of politics Looks like a needle in the haystack to find a true man of concience to day. It is going to be a long time in the future before we Canadians and you Americans are going to find the trust we need in our leaders again. For me never is the word |
