Good summary. I'm setting up chats as we speak as Doc John is now available. If you would like to participate, either pm me or indicate here in this thread. Thus far, based on latest postings, I have sent out information to bandido1, grant r, reverett123, annefrobert, lindylanka, TommyI, Jaye, indigogo, curious, RLSmi, Shake 'em up, olsen, Doc John, Ibken.
I know there are others, but I can't remember everyone, please indicate either way - not accountable for holes in memory. For the record, bandido1, I am for going the most productive route, but we have two factions, basically, or maybe three. Some want to remain independent as patients. But all the more reason to sort it out at a meeting. Orgs can be very slow. paula

I created a chat room to start talking about ideas but I don't like the name [too long] and already have asked that it be changed to just a PD meeting room. I thought it should be distinguished from a general PD chat but maybe that doesn't matter. I know there are plenty of two fingered typists here so DocJohn has also offered a conference call number. Depending on the interest level, we may switch to phone calls, but this way, at first, it can be open to anyone.
Anyone can go in now at anytime, but we still need a group time to ensure discussion, so how is 4 p.m. Eastern time US today, Sunday 10/5 or tomorrow, Monday 10/6? I haven't heard back from Doc John about chatting on a weekend so today may not work for him and others. No reason why we couldn't talk among ourselves today tho. Thanks to all who replied about this! Any comments or suggestions always welcome - better times or whatever. paula

Received an email about a new clinical trial and a blog link about the ritigotine patch.
Went to comments and found this: http://bibmomma.wordpress.com/who-the-hell-am-i/ with a link to this in a comment similar to the one made on this forum: http://www.advocateslist.org/ States that list will not be shared with others. Now it's a free country and lists can be made anywhere, but there's something that i would call "wrong with the pd community". i'll be waiting to see how this improves my condition or the relations within our community. paula
