Question Going to PAN Forum?

Who will be attending the PAN forum in DC next month? Carey, did I read correctly that you will? Hope so! I will and Digger will. Anyone else?

rulot001, please come!! Tons of information about current research, etc. I will post the online agenda as soon as I can find it again

If you decide not to go, please call PAN and let them know so that the scholarship funds can be awarded to someone else on the list.

Ans, rulot001...WELCOME to NT!!

Thanks for responding! I still am considering the trip! I think it will be a great experience and I meeting people who are living well with this disease will be great! I just worry about traveling with my PD symptoms and the unpredictability of my medicine. Reading what I just typed just made me realize I have to go! I have promised not to let this disease run my life! By not going PD wins! Thanks! See you there! Ruth

Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and the wrong. Sometime in your life you will have been all of these.

Ruth, yepper, you have to go. Besides think of all the fun you will miss if you don't go...

Seriously, don't worry about traveling. You will go and you will look around the room and say to yourself, "and I was worried about traveling"...99% of those attending travel by air, and a few by Amtrak train.

Hey, do what so many of us already do...and don't say I can't do that...take advantage of all transport services that the airports provide...electric cars/carts(whatever they are called)...wheelchair...boarding and deboarding aisle seats, if you would need such a thing, and some do...whatever...and don't think twice about it...JUST DO IT! Oops I think I just stole Nike's logo...
