Default Weekly Check In Sept 7-13, 2008

Hi Everyone..We got the remnants of Hanna last night, some wind a lots of rain..I parked down the dock for a while around midnight to make sure the boat was gonna be ok

We have been busy getting ready for our annual walk coming up on Sept 20..This is my first year on the walk committee..There sure is alot of stuff that goes into it..I have to go to the local supermarket tomorrow to see if I can get a gift card donation..Gawd!..How I hate asking for hand outs!..But I guess I had better get used to it if Im gonna be on the committee

Went clamming a couple of times this past week..I am some sore folks!..Good thing I got in to see the Chiropractor last Tuesday..It got rid of the back ache

How was your week?

I havent shared any of my photoshop political satire work lately..This ones kinda benign, so I thought Id post it

Smile

My grandson was born Sat. Sept. 6 and I was there in the birthing room with my daughter, her husband, and his mother. It was a truly amazing experience. Now I am staying with my daughter for 2 weeks to help her out. I am doing well, as long as I get my afternoon nap. Yesterday I took my 3 year old granddaughter to the preschool story hour at the library in the morning and dancing school in the afternoon while her mother stayed home with the baby
