Smirk My Teapot Club

Are you still there ?
It is some time since I joined the Forum. Only reading, looking at you in my Club.
On of you explained to me , how it is and would be to have this Disease.
Now I understand, I have struggled with my life and family the last half year.

I am looking for positive people , I want a change, I like tea, my depression is leaving me tonight.
Thank you for including me in the Club.

Funny thing ,I feel ashamed being depressed.

Default The No Choice Club

Look within. As hard as that sounds, you need to be able to trust and depend on yourself to get through it. Others may fail - they may never truly get it. I hope you are getting medical help for the depression.

we're here and you are welcome to be in the club that no one ever wanted or planned to be in.

be as strong as you can. personally 2008 has been a disaster for me. I hear you and am learning that i simply have to get through it somehow not depending completely on anyone else. some of the most dependable ones that do sustain me during my sinemet psychosis and depression/anxiety periods are right here on this forum.

best,
paula

Resolve to be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, and tolerant with the weak and the wrong. Sometime in your life you will have been all of these.

Hej Vertigo,

I am so sorry to learn that you are feeling depressed. Please don't be ashamed of depression, we have good reason to feel depressed. It takes a lot of energy and courage and humor to live with PD, and sometimes we run out of all three.
I hope you are just, as happens now and then, out of sorts and tired of dealing with PD.
Please don't despair. I think anger at PD is helpful, it feels more positive to be angry than to be sad. Fight the illness every inch of the way.
And make my tea Lapsang Souchong please.

kærlig hilsen fra birte

Default tea time

Hey Vertigo! No tea for this gal; maybe Orange Pekoe with a shot of Irish Whiskey!

I wear my depression as a badge of honor; it has, and continues to be, a constant struggle (isn't "Constant Comment" an Orange Pekoe brand??!!). I am proud to be winning the battle, and count you, as well as all of our other depressive neurotalk denizens, as comrades in arms, united in the battle against this dread disease!

I'm happy - not depressed - to be a member of the club. I'll take another cup!

Default My Teapot Club

This is a very good meeting-place and I feel like I been together with you around the Teapot. It is warming my heart.
All the nice pictures, telling me a lot, you understand !
Today I was in my group BODY AWARENESS, it is hard to accept my body, I try to be friend with it, not blaming , but stand up and fight, like you tell me.

I think that I should have another medication, tried to cut down Requip. It made me feel strange that Requip, uncritical, buying things I did not need.
That made me desperate, I tried to get back to my old body witch was healthy.
Telling myself ,I could make it without the medicine, may be I did not have much P.D.
Now I realise I have a lot to learn.
Thank`s for joining me around my teapot everyone of you.

Love greetings
annelise
