As Steve said, "you are in the right place." Don't get scared by some of the stories you hear here. Everyone is unique in their symptomology, their progression and their med requirements. You will become an expert on PD while you are here!! Do not be afraid to ask anything!

As the others have said, your in the right place. If anyone knows about PD it's the folks here. Don't be afraid to ask if you have a question.

Default Welcome Richard

From a fellow Canadian, I live close to Toronto, Ontario. This is a great forum, I'm sure you will get a lot from it. It is such a relief to talk with other PWP, everyone here will give you their thoughts on any quiestions you may have. You are in good company.

Hi Richard, I am from the West Coast and similar to you I was diagnosed 1 week(dec 31 2003) after having to make the decision on staying with our being privatized firm or quiting with a contract bonus. Worked out that I had a weeks extra banked time compared to the year I needed to get a pension. Funny how things pile up.

take care ,,, ken
