I love all your pictures of flowers!! You love flowers as much as I do. I am glad you have a hobby you love, it makes so much difference.
My current hobby is lampworking, in other words, melting glass with a torch to make beads, pendants, sculptures. I always end up putting flowers on my beads and pendants and have tried sculptures of flowers. I am still a beginner but it is so much fun. I have been doing it for 2 yrs now. I think it really helps my parkinsons becuz both hands have to be doing something and they have to work together. Granted the left doesn't work as good as right, but it is not getting worse. I am going to studio today and am bringing a bagful of autumn leaves-am going to try and make a beautiful leaf sculpture. It is always challenging. |

Here are some pictures from my Enfield and Eastern Trainz Route.
A commuter train made up from old Buddliners heading to Willows Point just outside of Phillips. The station on the right is no longer an active station and has become a restaurant and lounge. This is a 20 minute ride each way between Easport and Willows Point with stops in Belmont, Belmont Beach, Phillips, then Willows Point. Eastport Terminal. There is actually a street car line that also runs in the city. You can ride the trolleys too if you wish. This pictures was taken just prior to the reopening of the trolley line since there are no trolley poles on the bridge. Here's a Granby-bound train pulling into Parkdale. Shot at 2007-01-28 Here are a view from the cab on the way to Parkdale. With the enauguration of the opening of the Northern Main, the GEPTA (Greater Easport Transit Authority) purhased some Desiro trainsets from Europe. These are replacements for the aging equipment used by the old MBTA. The Northern Main heads up the coast and eventually connects to Bristol via Plymouth. Here is one of the many scenic views of the ocean as we travel to Plymouth. Shot at 2006-09-17 There are numerous drawbridges and a few tunnels on this line. Here we see a Desiro set at Shoreham. The yard tracks in the front are the former Shoreham and East Sandwich. There's not much left of this branch as the bridge was washed away during a severe Nor'ester in 1938. The old B&M was too poor at the time to replace the bridge so they abandoned the line. Today it serves a few warehouses and a sand pit near the end of the line. Shot at 2006-09-17 A view of the Newburyport drawbridge Just a pretty picture. This is on the Northern Main quite a distance out from Newburyport. At this point, the line is quite far inland and is following along a river, which is off to the right. ### There are many more images available for anyone that wants to see them. John |

Tena,
You take beautiful pictures. Thank you for sharing your images with us. My favorite image of yours is "Leaves on the Walk". Thanks again. Max PS I'm a digital artist, but definitely not as productive as I would like to be. It's funny, because now I have all the time in the world now but don't have the internal drive to create anything. Not sure if this atachment worked, but here's one of my images. |
