Default Norwegian coast...

Hi Lloyd,
I went on that Norwegian coastal cruise 15 years ago - the coastline is beautiful! At that time I didn't have any trouble with my balance, but now I'm not so sure how well I'd do.

So very sorry to hear about your colleague passing away.

Jean

The weather was so so; rainy at times although there were also some beautiful days. I'm glad that I can still make it although European side walks are hard on my balance.

While in Norway I saw my former post-doctoral students (two of them). Both are working for the Polar Institute in Bergen. One of them suggested that I come to Norway to work with them. I'm sure he was jesting but I checked with my wife just to make sure that she would come with me in case he wasn't. She said yes, she would come.

Sorry I missed the Hope Conference. Actually I didn't even know about it. I suppose if I had known my wife would have agreed to accompany me. I generally don't travel alone any more unless it's over a short distance. Coming home, I got some bad news; a colleague died in my absence. We had worked together for more than 40 years. He will be missed.

All the best.

Lloyd

Default Wii games

Ken: The Neuro psychiatrist showed us three games...have no idea what their called, but can describe them. The first was a down hill ski slolom where you had to leave the gates and make it around as many posts as possible. The second was a soccer game where you were the goalie and had to repelll the soccer ball with your head. Sometimes they threw shoes at you too and you had to duck them. The third game used a balance board and you dropped marbles in a hole. He highly recommended this "toy". Put it on your Santa list!

I live in langley...are you in the Brentwood area? I rarely am in that area, but your just a half hour away on the highway. Even less on the skytrain.
Maybe we'll get to meet one day. Do you have a Wii? (that sounds like a rude question!)
