This is a book about how to handle our illness -
300 Tips for making life with PD easier, I suggest you share it with your spouse, or the entire family!

Being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease can be distressing, and adjusting to the effects of the disease is often difficult. This indispensable resource for patients, family, friends, and caregivers helps patients rise above PD’s challenges by working smarter, maintaining a positive outlook, and conserving time and energy. Organized by subject, the book covers a wide range of topics, including making the home more accessible; dressing aids and simple clothing adaptations; using technology to improve communication; eating and drinking tips for people with difficulty swallowing; mobility and exercise; managing home health care; cars and driving; leisure and recreational activities; travel; and much more. A resource section at the end of each chapter contains contact information for the agencies, organizations, and products mentioned. Completely revised and updated to include over 65 new tips and 40 additional resources, the book enables readers to become more independent and lead remarkably unlimited lives.

Default The Miracle of Bioidentical Hormones -

another must investigate/ read...

http://www.amazon.com/Miracle-Bio-Id...e=UTF8&s=bookshttp://www.amazon.com/Miracle-Bio-Id...e=UTF8&s=books

Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy, Part 3, A Review of
Author(s):Wepfer Scott T
Abstract:
In this article, the author provides additional evidence of the vast differences between synthetic progestins and bioidentical progesterone. The main topics of discussion include progesterone and breast cancer, progesterone and estrogen dominance: a matter of balance, benefits of progesterone for all women, progesterone and vasomotor symptoms, testosterone for women, route of administration and compliance.

Tables provide information regarding symptoms of estrogen dominance and a rationale for the use of progesterone in all women receiving estrogen replacement therapy. The author concludes that there is enough compelling evidence to suggest that the use of conjugated equine estrogens and synthetic progestins and estrogens is outdated and that bioidentical hormones seem more effective and safer for patients.

Generalized conclusions about estrogen replacement therapy and hormone replacement therapy based on studies of conjugated equine estrogens and synthetic progestins do not necessarily apply to bioidentical hormones.

Thanks

I am currently compiling a list of PD books...both PWP information books and medical books.

If anyone has a book that they would like to add a "review" about, please send it to me. If you have a book you feel should be on the list, let me know that too.
