Thumbs up The A to Z of Marathons

Hi all,

My name is Dan Wilson. I am 24 years old and I am running the "A to Z of Marathons" in 2007 to raise money for the Parkinson's Disease Society. I will be running 26 marathons, with each marathon beginning with a different letter of the alphabet. I will be running in London, Barcelona, Moscow, Rio, the Great Wall of China, the Sahara, North Pole and a load more

I'm not sure if I am aloud to post my website address, so I will leave it for you to work out, my username is therunningdan, so it should be pretty easy to work out the bit at the beginning and the bit at the end.

I would love to hear from you all, my contact details are on the website. If you can sign my guestbook and or send me a message about how Parkinson's has affected your life, that would be awesome. My connection is that my Dad is a sufferer and has been for the last 5 years.

Please spread the word about my website, the more people know about it, the more money we can raise for this incredibly important cause.

Thanks for reading my post, I appreciate it

Dan

Good to hear from you, Dan Wilson. Good luck with your runs. That's quite a commitment.

Thumbs up Thanks for the support !

I can't wait to get started, we've already raised £500 (approx $1,000) and the webite has only been up 3 weeks and I haven't run a marathon yet!

Its going to be great to be able to visibly see an improvement in facilities and care for Parkinson's sufferers and the process of raising the money is great therapy for me. I can channel all my frustrations at not being able to stop Parkinson's existence, into raising money to help fight the good fight!
