I am 48 now, but two years ago, in my training for a CDL license, we covered the topic of fainting,.....now this is the first time that I have ever been involved in the topic to such an extent. The very next day, as I am driving down the road (shortly after lunch and a heated discussion with city counsel over the phone), I faint while I am driving....just been back in the car about 2 minutes....and was looking for a place to stop to use the restroom.
where can I stop, need to stop realll bad.....then I faint for about 2 seconds or maybe even less, and I'm thinking about where I might be, and I just thought possibly- I might be in a car, and just in case I should find the brake pedal. As my eyes opened, I had crossed oncoming traffic and was in the entrance way to a restaurant. An ambulance came and took me to the hospital, after about 45 minutes realizing what the costs were coming to be, I put my clothes back on and left, I was barely able to stand. I fainted again about a month later. I believe it was the high caffeine content of some overbrewed tea that I was getting from a certain restaurant in Panama City that was the main culprit. My Mom has Parkinsons, that's why I am on this site, she will be going to stay for a while in Erie, PA....with her daughter, until she gets a little better. I have never in my life fainted before this. I lost my sight for about 10 seconds in Karate class back in 1974, but besides this nothing else. |
