Steve,

I understand completely and I like your honesty. I enjoyed the Steve and Harley adventures whatever you were to each other.

Maybe I can even relate. My former called me a few days ago and asked if he could room-mate with me for an undetermined period of time. He wants to get out of the isolating job he has, care-taking a fishing lodge. Stress has his asthma kicking up a fuss and he is tired of his own company. We are pretty good friends and he was down this way a couple of times recently so we both feel it is a doable.

How weird is it that I am the love of his life? He thought he could be with me and be a caretaker. It was so obvious that he couldn't, I left. Sure I felt let down at another failure but through thick or thin our friendship is like a beacon, and is a safe harbour. I have known David, from Ireland, 30 years now. I will enjoy his company and make him my slave..............yeah riiiiiiight
