Default colonics

I was wondering what you have heard about colonics. Are they beneficial? Recommended? I of course would use a "certified" therapist.. for those who may not know this is the flushing of the colon with water to remove excess waste that may build up. I have been wondering about this for a while since the sinemet slows your bowel and after years of the medication I wonder if this may be helpful. In addition this would remove the buildup that may cause colon cancer and whatever else. I have not found any medical literature on this subject. I would suspect it is treated as homeopathic and may not be readily addressed except by obviously prejudiced opinions.

Medline gives 1100 hits for colonic + irrigation. Looks promising. This one will separate the White Rats from the White Mice...

I had one last week - due to shutdown - after years of textbook, clockwork pooping. Oh what a relief it was! A series is recommended and I would do it if accessible. Go for it!

...as opposed to the completely unbiased studies that our pharma companies design and pay for.........sorry, it's not you. I just have a chip on my shoulder the size of Connecticut about the whole thing......ok, rant over.

Colonics -yeah, I had six of them in a row, on successive days. I think it's quite helpful and a good idea. On the last one they also implanted a probiotic into the colon area.
