Born in 1953, 1st symptoms and misdiagnosed as essential tremor in 1992. Dx with PD in 2000.
Currently (2011) taking 200/50 Sinemet CR 8 times a day + 10/100 Sinemet 3 times a day. Functional 90% of waking day but fragile. Failure at exercise but still trying. Constantly experimenting. Beta blocker and ACE inhibitor at present. Currently (01/2013) taking ldopa/carbadopa 200/50 CR six times a day + 10/100 form 3 times daily. Functional 90% of day. Update 04/2013: L/C 200/50 8x; Beta Blocker; ACE Inhib; Ginger; Turmeric; Creatine; Magnesium; Potassium. Doing well.

My doctor is #15! I always said I had one of the top doctors in the country! I guess I was right! I'm lucky that I found him.

I would have thought that there would be more from Los Angeles, but go figure only one with all these teaching hospitals.

based on my last appt I know that mine and his lousybed side manner could not crack the top 200.

Thanks for the list. I think its great that people are rating their docs and sure hope the docs read it. Maybe they will learn something

Has anyone ever seen a ranking for the movement disorders specialists?

Using the advanced search it gives a full list, but I don't see that one.

But in a regular search putting it in gives the dr's names. I'll look some more.

Default I added.......

Jeff Bronstein's name to the list. They should have Movement Disorder Specialist as a specialty on the rankings. Presently they only show "Neurology" as a specialty.
