Default Weekly Check In April 5-11, 2009

Hi Everyone..April showers bring May flowers..Thats been the deal here this past week

I feel really good this morning, and feel a freedom from the bondage pd has had me in lately..It feels great to have a little bit of spunk, instead of feeling weak, backstepping ready to fall over backwards..Its really been hell for a while..and then all of a sudden it lifts like the morning fog..Emotional crap will do it everytime

I finallly got my truck back after 16 days..I was ready to go there and read that guy the riot act..I needed my truck back cuz my daughter came down from North Carolina yesterday to take the van home with her, and I would have been without transportation..I have a neuro appointment tomorrow, and an APDA Board meeting Tuesday night, and I have to be there because Im the Capt of our team for the Unity Walk in New York..The transmission in the truck doesnt seem right, havent had it on the highway yet, but it had better be ok..I should have done some research on the garage I brought it to..I seem to have this on going problem of assuming I can trust people I dont know, but I balk at the thought about having to be constantly on guard with people..I lived like that for years..Never trusted anybody cuz I thought I had all the answers..Now Ive gone to the opposite extreme cuz I cant see whats in it for anyone to not be honest and sincere..Nothing good ever comes out of it..Never did for me anyway

It was a treat to see my daughter for the short time I did..She had to go and visit her Mother too, and left for home this morning..Once I get straightened out financially Im going to take a trip out to North Carolina to visit..Actually, I dont wanna see another suit case for a while right now..Maybe I'll go next winter to get away from the cold and snow..Now theres a thought..

No fishing last week..too much rain and wind..Still tinkering around with my pot hauler, and I have to hang a set of clam rakes for a buddy of mine today while the sun is out..Its all good!!

How was your week?

Default Glad to hear your week went better!!

April showers? How about April snowstorms!! Woke up Sunday morning to a very white world. News on TV warning people not to drive unless absolutely. But was one of those snow storms that was melted away by the evening. Played oboe for a concert on Sunday night. Received lots of complements on my solos. Felt Good.

Unlike Steve, I am tired and going to take a nap. Steve, I have been trusting my whole life, reasonably. At least before PD. Find life happier hoping for the best. Beats expecting the worse.

I trust people til they give me a reason not too, Then it is extremely difficult for me to trust that person ever again.

I am in Florida to spend Easter with my daughter and grandchildren and also my sister. They had a record high of 92 the day before we came and then they got the cold front that everyone has been getting and it barely reached 70 yesterday. Not that 70 is bad, the forecast high for Philly was 48, but I hope it warms up enough to swim. I have a new bathing suit!

There should be some tool marks. Also you should be able to see the rim of new gaskets.

BTW...my husband read your reply over my shoulder. His dad was a master mechanic, so he was raised around building and rebuilding engines. That was his reply..not mine.

I learned from him. He also rebuilt and replaced engines in our garage.

When my son's fuel pump broke on his car I replaced it for him. He was embarrassed because his friends teased him about it.
