Doctors Mistook Parkinson's For Bad Diabetes
Apr 27, 2009 7:00 pm US/Central http://wcco.com/health/mistaken.diag....2.995869.html (WCCO) Judy Darby hopes sharing her story will help others who may suffer from the same disease and not even know it. A 60-year-old woman feels she has a new lease on life thanks to a trip to the ER where she was seen by new doctor who specializes in Parkinson's disease. Judy Darby hopes sharing her story will help others who may suffer from the same disease and not even know it. "I feel so much better, free. I feel like I'm free again, able to go outside again," said Darby. She can't wait to work on her garden, something that seemed impossible just a few months ago. She has lived with diabetes since she was just seven years old. |
