Default Dizzy from Carbidopa-Levodopa

How many days does one have to take Carbidopa-Levodopa before you can take it without getting dizzy?

Thanks very much. I'm wondering if I can tolerate Carbidopa-Levodopa at all. I had an episode of dizziness 12 hours after taking only 1/4 tablet of 10-100. 18 hours later I'm still groggy.

Sounds like you are super sensative to the meds Mike..If I recall, I think there is a drug that helps with the nausea, but cant remember the name of it

I will leave you with this link, but talk to your Dr about it because I am not sure about this

http://www.rxlist.com/lodosyn-drug.htm

Ultimately Mike, somehow you have to try to get past the side effects of Carbidopa-Levodopa, because it is our lifeline to treating pd

I think you are referring to "Domperidone". It is an anti-nausea drug that is availible in Canada. Ask your neuro about it.
