Cool Smirk 2007 Creativity & Parkinson's Calendar (WPC)

"Creativity and Parkinson's- an exhibition of artwork on display at the 2006 World Parkinson Congress- provided a rich, comprehensive and inspirational message to the participants and gave tangible evidence that creativity can have an impact on one's quality of life.

"Underlying the purpose of this website is the value that creativity plays in the lives of people with Parkinson's and their families. It is hoped the impact of the artwork and the artists' statements will fuel further study on the creative process and the therapeutic value of creativity.

"We invite you to share in this experience, and support this creative endeavor, by purchasing one or more of the desktop calendars which showcase a few of the pieces on exhibition at the 2006 WPC. We value your participation and thank you, in advance, for your order!"

Self-standing desktop 2007 calendar in a jewel (CD) case.
$12.00 (US)...includes shipping and handling cost.

Default If Carolyn's post....

stays up, uncontested, containing elements that could get get her ripped to shreds for unbridled capitalism, than the rights allowed us here, will have been shown superior to those allowed us at "the other place". cs

ol'cs...I did not start this thread to solicite money. This calendar is composed of only a few of the hundreds of pieces of art that we submitted by PWPs all over the world and were on display throughout the WPC week for all WPC to view.

The calendar is something we can all enjoy throughout the year. If I had not posted this information, who in this forum would never have known the calendar existed for them to enjoy in 2007.

The WPC event is something that is a part of our global PD community, and will be year after year. I also posted, shortly after the 2006 WPC, that this very large catalog of art submissions was also available. Hope that didn't offend anyone.

Carolyn
I had to read cs post twice. He's saying "If this post is NOT locked - edited - or shut down, then it's proof that THIS FORUM IS SUPERIOR TO THE OTHER" - which shall remain unnamed. but we all know who!

LOL

This is a good thing - a VERY good thing. (Both the calaendar sales AND this forum!)

Default Righteee o , Peg

See how easy it is for what one is thinking and how it can be so misunderstood.
Carolyn- Think how difficult it is for "our sons and dauthers" when total misunderstanding happens out there in the desert, among people who are supposed to be "valid interpreter", in a one message, no chance to reply, message through a critical time and have the opposite information by which to develop battle plans, be chosen as the truth.
NO biggy. However there are from time to time here, Pifffs and POffs about ultimate meaning of what we post here.
