And for a lot of reasons. Off the top of my head there is that GI inflammation opens both the gut barrier and the brain barrier. And then there is the question of H. pylori's role.

Born in 1953, 1st symptoms and misdiagnosed as essential tremor in 1992. Dx with PD in 2000. Currently (2011) taking 200/50 Sinemet CR 8 times a day + 10/100 Sinemet 3 times a day. Functional 90% of waking day but fragile. Failure at exercise but still trying. Constantly experimenting. Beta blocker and ACE inhibitor at present. Currently (01/2013) taking ldopa/carbadopa 200/50 CR six times a day + 10/100 form 3 times daily. Functional 90% of day. Update 04/2013: L/C 200/50 8x; Beta Blocker; ACE Inhib; Ginger; Turmeric; Creatine; Magnesium; Potassium. Doing well. |

It's worth your 'wow' and makes me chuckle at what excites us these days. I am not surprised, they have been talking about it starting in the gut and have found lewey bodies in the gastrointestinal tract. i'd like to know more about systemic genetics damage and chromosome damage.
my daughter is concerning me now, always had low energy but showing high protein and possible kidney ivolvement, blood in urine, i was pregnant with her when they discovered the pesticide in the milk. we are so involed and i've been thinking of a way to contribute to the pdresearch online but i 'll post in that thread/ paula

Thanks again for posting this information
I think this should have made a much bigger splash than it did. If the paper shows solid data, it would be extremely important to so many diseases. I will write more after I read the paper. girija Quote:
