Confused Chiropractic Care

I would like to know if any of you have had Chiropractic care. I am currently seeing a chiropractor for general body adjustments, and specifically, for a Sciatic nerve problem. I experience pain every day with this, and I'm looking for relief. My legs are also painful...I suspect due to the Sciatica. I have had chiropractic care in the past, periodically, but I do not seem to be responding as well as I did initially. I have some thoughts related to this, i.e., overweight, soon to turn 66, and of course, PD which I have had for 10 years plus...but, actually I am doing quite well related to the PD. I'm posting here to see if any of you have had experience with chiropractic care, and what the outcome has been. Of course, I realize that there are chiropractors and there are chiropractors...that it's important to find a good one, etc. I would appreciate anything that you might be able to share with me.

Thank you so much...
Doreen

I go to a chiro monthly {chronic RSI/TOS/mild c- spine stuff} lately sacroiliac joint pain has been bothering me so we're working on that.

Does your do the upper cervical adjustments - c1/c2?
If your shoulders, ribs or hips are not level the c1/c2 could be misaligned.
That can cause many additional symptoms over time.
here are some links about it -

I wondered if you've had any recent xray or MRI to check the spine for any additional possibles?

If my SI keeps acting up I'll have to at least get xrays to see what is going on..

My dad has ddd, arthritis, and other things going on in his back along with PD.
He hasn't tried any chiropractic so i can't give any input on the PD & chiro part.
