Ron-
Yes, though that was many brain cells ago. :)
It would be interesting to have 1000 PWP answers, would it not? Small samples tantalize.

Remember we had a precious thread on this topic.?
I remember you saying Wanda and yourself had a good laugh when it was suggested a PWP was a nervous introverted type!!! I can't find it, but do you remember us joking about who we were like?
It was years ago, could even have been Braintalk.

the Idealists have it

If you add the Kiersey Temperament Sorter to the Myers-Briggs Model, you get a fuller, more descriptive, profile. This is highly unscientific, but more fun! (see chart below and read more here)

So far, in our extremely small, non scientific survey, we have one Rational Mastermind (Rick); two Guardian Protectors (JeanB and dbiker2); one Guardian Inspector (Stitcher); and a whole bunch of Idealists: Counselor (Lindy, Conductor71); Teacher (girija, Paula); and Champion (Rose, Jaye and indigogo).

I’d love to see more of these, because so far there is a 2-1 representation of Idealist Mentor/Advocates – (I’ve always wanted to do this at PAN to see if it attracts more of this type). Idealist types (NF) make up 16.3% of the general population; 70% of those self-reported here. We need more data! But there's a certain logic that this kind of forum would be populated by educator-mentor types.

The good thing is if you are going to be successful at a project, like the book, it takes all types to get the job done; we all have different roles that we perform naturally and well. Even better is the prevelance of "J" over "P" (Rose - you and I are the only loosey-goosey "P's"). J's like to work towards a complete conclusion with full closure - P's are more inclined to want to keep things open and are better at idealizing rather than completing a project. Always been a major challenge for me when working with others!

There are 4 Temperaments; 8 Roles; 16 Role Variants

NF – Idealist (diplomatic)
-----NFJ – Mentor (developing)
..........ENFJ – Teacher (educating) girija, Paula
..........INFJ – Counselor (guiding) lindylanka, Conductor71
-----NFP – Advocate (mediating)
..........ENFP – Champion (motivating) rose of his heart, Jaye, indigogo
..........INFP – Healer (conciliating)
NT – Rational (strategic)
-----NTJ – Coordinator (arranging)
..........ENTJ – Fieldmarshal (mobilizing)
..........INTJ – Mastermind (Entailing) reverett123, shcg
-----NTP – Engineer (constructing)
..........ENTP – Inventor (devising)
..........INTP – Architect (designing)
SJ – Guardian (logistical)
-----STJ – Administrator (regulating)
..........ESTJ – Supervisor (enforcing)
..........ISTJ – Inspector (certifying) Stitcher
-----SFJ – Conservator (supporting)
..........ESFJ – Provider (supplying)
..........ISFJ – Protector (securing) jeanb, dbiker2
SP – Artisan (tactical)
-----STP – Operator (expediting)
..........ESTP – Promoter (persuading)
..........ISTP – Crafter (instrumenting)
-----SFP – Entertainer (improvising)
..........ESFP – Performer (demonstrating)
..........ISFP – Composer (synthesizing)
