The feeling of satisfaction after you've pushed yourself to achieve is like no other. Well done SC - keep on stepping

Every time I am close to giving up something steps in to lift me up. It is not my inner strength and while you all help me much, it is something far greater. I believe it is my higher power stepping in. I think God is hearing my prayers, he forgives me, and helps me when I don't have the strength or will to fight on.
This morning I lied in bed for almost an hour. I had no pain, no numbness or burning, just pins and needles. It was a small miracle and I dared not move as I knew the symptoms would start but what a joy it was to feel relatively normal just for that time. I really needed that reprieve and the hope it brought me.
Wishing you all a blessed day.

That's what happens with me. There are the days; nothing accomplished; but when a day or even a few hours that I accomplish something I wanted to do; I feel good about it.

You mentioned someone wanting your phone #. Whatever the other party saw, he must have thought you looked like someone he might want to know better.

I deal with 24/7 pain issues in addition to PN; but wanting to try to be more upbeat for someone else..It's having a purpose. My husband is not a nursemaid; although he does do the driving . Both of us had been widowed before we married. (What I am getting at; is maybe you don't have to assume you will be alone the rest of your life.)

SC,
The best is that we can be open with one another on NT.

Today in The States it is Labor Day, a national holiday. The country will be pool side and at barbeques but here I alone and lonely, just me and my dog. I think I will need invite God in for company.

I live in the USA (not born here though) and I think I may have missed the memo about the pool and BBQ thing!

Sounds like a good plan to me, and a nice one. Perhaps if the weather is kind you can take the dog for a gentle stroll, return and watch reruns of your favourite shows. Enjoy the public holiday. If it's any consolation, my DB works every public holiday and I am inevitably alone with the pets.

At least we have each other. I like to know you are out there somewhere in cyberspace.
