Default Chemical Exposure question

Hi All,
I'm seeing my neurologist on Wed. of this week. I don't know that he ever did any heavy metals/chemical work up on me. At the time I really didn't see the point as I was working in a former Burlington Northern Credit Union, so I never saw that I was directly exposed . In the past couple of months Whitefish, Mt. where I live has become a superfund site. My question is I worked right in front of the depot for nine years before moving to a new site last year(I'm on disability now)and that is one of the areas in question. I remember when my husband built the city library and theater arts building on either side of our building about eight years ago he had to keep sump pumps working day and night as the diesel saturation would fill up the new building footings round the clock! I was amazed at the time that that city would allow construction to go on with those circumstances, he just shook his head and said they know and they don't care, the land was donated by the BN.
Oops, rambling now, my question is should I have my neurologist look into it? I worked in a that I believe had a dirt crawl space under my work area, no one else was sickened or affected during that time. I did research when my grandson was diagnosed with AML Leukemia on Benzene because of the fiber board mill here in the valley, the EPA reported that it was leached into the ground water and at one time into the air, we have a high incidence of leukemia here....just food for thought? Should I be concerned?
