Default Trauma to nerves in face

Sorry to be a bit off topic but I have PN and tripped and landed on my face. After 4 days most of the left side of my face is still numb. I would appreciate any opinions on whether this will likley go away with the swelling, or if there is a particular type of Dr. I should see.

I hope you have been seen in the ER or at least by a physician.

No. I thought the numbness was just part of the swelling. After a couple days I got a little concerned and learned a nerve runs up the cheek towards the eye, and now assume it must have at least been irritated since that was the center of the impact.

You could have head injury. I suggest you call your doc.
