Default alodinea and loss of C nerve fibers on skin

Does alodinea indicates usualy a loss in fibers of one's skin in a particular area?

Sometimes I feel this alodinea sensation, others I don't. It seems to be decreasing. Does anyone knows or suspect why?

Thank you
