And oh, that bloomin onion. I never in all my life enjoyed a meal like a did a the Outback Steakhouse. And the steak had 7 different kinds of pepper on it. Alan needed 10 glasses of water and said "we're never coming here again". He's not a fan of pepper.

But now we eat the chicken and the salmon and the mackeral and the salads and no more bloomin onion. (Oh the dipping sauce of that bloomin onion).
I WILL NEVER FORGET THAT MEAL. !!!! It was divine.

Default The California Governor is from Austria, actually--

--just several letters fewer than Austrailia.

(I'm sure most Aussies don't want THAT confusion.)

Doug:

I'm hysterical!!! You mean, everytime Arnold opened his mouth and said "I'LL BE BACK", you heard an australian accent??????.

Not only is he from Austria, but his last name translates to Black Plowman. I heard him say this on a show one day.

See my memory ain't so bad after all!!!!!

bye for now.

Waiting for Terminator 4

I have a friend who was born in Austria, and visits relatives there regularly. He says that that is not the true translation of his last name, but that he has altered it slightly- to make it 'politically correct'.
Americans with black ancestry wouldn't like the literal one.

Hi, That got me curious so I went to his official biography on the Internet Movie Database.

Here is what it said about his name

"In German, the word "schwarzen" means "black," and "egger" means "ploughman." So "Schwarzenegger" is "Black Ploughman."

So what did he change, or shouldn't I ask? If it's that bad or inappropriate, forget I even asked.

I try to be politically correct and diplomatic. At least when I'm not beating up my husband.

Lightbulb the way I read it....

You know, many people have the surname Black.

Perhaps this name is derived from someone whose name was Black (Schwartz),
who was also a farmer/and used a plow.

German typically puts words together to make new words. I find it a very confusing language (which I had to take in college).

I personally don't think Black Plowman is the same as Plowman whose name is Black, are the same thing.

Using Babelfish translator I do not get any Plowman entry for the last half
of his name.

In my opinion, when you are built like Arnold Schwartzenegger, YOU CAN CALL YOURSELF ANY DARN THING YOU WANT TO CALLL YOURSELF!!

I mean, "who's going to argue with you, right?".

Let's just call him Governator. that's what they call him on tv!!!
