I think I'm always subconsciously aware of potential for imbalance. When I go out, I always use a cane, and am uncomfortable without it.
Around the house I don't use the cane much, but it is necessary to clean the walls about 4' off the ground on occasion - the result of my hands gliding along them in an unconscious effort to maintain balance.:o |
the yoga, just as suggestion, there are many types that are beginner... or for people with special diseases I think.. if you google...
anyhow my balance is just at times, I do not knwo when going to hit me.. I work full time running a McDonalds... so always busy with that and five kids.. but I bump into walls, and things as the balance goes, or bump head on things... etc... lots of injuries hugss and good luck all, sarah |
like many people with numb feet i use my eyes to balance. The balance issue is always there but i dont always fall because of using my eyes to balance. If the light is dim, or im not paying attention , or turn too fast then i lose my balance and once i start to go i often go all the way.

Everything you mention...dim light, turning too fast, etc. contribute to injuries. |
