Does anyone have blurry vision with their PN? Do you just deal with it or are you treating it as something separate from PN. I decided to go see an eye doctor this week in hopes that my eyes may give a clue to the exact diagnosis.

My prescription changed within a month after getting this, which was 3yrs ago. I saw a Neuro Opthamologist(?), and I was given a different prescription. Most of my vision is clear, but with what I have (if I for sure have PN), my vision will still change with physical demands, stress, etc. I get blurry vision, but not what I used to have, since getting corrective lenses. It's not 100%, I still have things such as items across the room, etc that become blurry, but I deal with it. I can still see them, they just aren't HD. LOL You can get through this, with patience and determination.

Hi, I have not kept up with you and your symptoms, but have you had your B12 levels checked?
It seems that was symptom a cousin of mine had when B12 deficient. I just want to say that I went through a lot of money and tests for me, and finally a dr. did some simple bloodwork that included Vitamin D. Found out I'm deficient. I'm praying it's my answer. I've had a few people close to me tell me how B12 messed with their systems and how it was their own miracle. Good idea to see the eye dr. |

I don't have blurry vision but have maor eye pain and problems with spots. I have been to 11 specialist for this issue alone, mri, scans etc. They still are clueless of why I have this. I do have belpheritis and dry eye but it should not cause this level of pain. I have had a hard time getting a doc to connect the PN/RSD and the eyes. I have heard others mention though blurry with conditions like this. I hope you find a doctor to give you answers and relief. Also I wonder have you started any new meds that could contribute?

I do have migraines now that kinda stay around one of my eyes and although I don't have spots, my peripheral vision looks too dim like I'm in a fog of some sort but not quite like a tunnel. |

Have you been checked for diabetes? Fluxuating blood sugar can cause blurry vision

It is hard to know what is connected to PN and what is seperate. I am fearful one day I am going to think it is PN or RSD but it be something seperate and have major issues. Yet at the same time if I went to the docs for everything I have has happen I would be there every day. I would see an eye doc and get a retina exam. You also may want an mri of your brain. That were steps I took when I was having eye issues. Let us know how the blood work comes out

MRI was normal. My eye exam showed no abnormalities outside me being near-sighted now. He suggested that I stop taking at least Nortriptyline since blurry vision is one of the side effects and long-term that can cause glaucoma.
