'SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM SPAM' I believe that goes to some familiar tune?
Glad to live long enuf to see some actual 'history' done'. They're still tinkering on the previous ones, like SS and medicare...and they've been around all my life. It'll keep them all bizzy a while for sure. Especially w/the following:
Now for another verse: SPAM SPAM SPAM ....etc.. http://www.spam.com/recipes/default.aspx Go on from there?
Am waiting for a woodpecker or such to start assaulting my house at sunrise and a good cuppa coffee.

And don't forget that Kraft's Mac 'nCheese is the perfect non-food 'food'? Look at the deliteful artificial COLOR, is there anything one can make that is so ORANGEY? Hard to do from scratch tho... Food dyes just don't 'do' the same job, ya know? Still gotta love it now and then tho... ?
There is always this stuffs: http://www.vermontcountrystore.com/b...0/P/1:100:1020 Some of it not soo bad... Later folks!:hug:'s - j

Speaking of history (repeating itself....)......

Remember when SPAM used to be an innocent can of food we all sat around campfires singing about ..? .....

...........Now in the modern era, it's a whole different iconic epidemic which has kept our wonderful moderators working around the clock to PREVENT ....!

:holysheep:

cyclelops 03-24-2010 08:21 AM

Was Spam ever innocent?

JoanB 03-24-2010 08:59 AM

Cy, can you look at this:

http://www.spam.com/recipes/detail/3...a-muffins.aspx

...and still ask that question?

nide44 03-24-2010 03:53 PM

Spam was always emergency rations for me.
That's the only time I'd ever eat it.
Just the smell of it frying in a pan
(or just out of the can with that glop all around it )
was enough for me to say- 'only in an emergency'.

i think there's a can of it thats been sitting on a shelf in my house
since the Reagan administration.
(I'm sure that it was purchased in a year that they
had no expiration dates on cans.:()
