I don't really know. It does not explain how they stop the pain. The same websight also propmotes the ionic cleanse which is a well known hoax.

I have personally benefited alot from visits to an osteopath,and than there are others who beneifit from Bowen Therapy. It appears that you may be in need of some PT, or similar like therapy and maybe it is worth a go?

Steff, again I don't see any research backing up this. I try to stay close to traditional medicine. I go to a doctor in family practice. I have tried acupuncture and B12 supplements and tens with my doctor's blessing. He prescribes pain meds for me, working with me until I found something effective that I could tolerate. You have had such a bad experience with something (prolotherapy injections) that is not sanctioned by traditional doctors. Be careful about jumping into something else that might harm you or take a lot of your money with no results. Have you tried a traditional doctor?

I have no idea on this but saw your other post about other treatments. I was wondering if you have been to a pain clinic? They maybe able to direct you better. Like I know for me it helped push me out of bed. I also wonder my doc wants to put a tunnel catheter so that I can do extreme reabilitation with less pain in my legs. I have been told for myself and not saying you that I have to be on my feet as much as I can and the pain will feel worse now but will help. I'm still fearful but pushing. I'm going for another anastesolgist apt for other things possible but less invasive then the catheter. Have you looked into something like that for your pain control?I know in your past post you were nervous about the meds but have you given any more thought?

I don't have PN - so I don't know if my input will apply for PN-

For my RSI/TOS pain - I have had good results from
Interferential {IF} stim {a type of electric stimulation}
Chiropractic {he also uses Ultrasound, low level laser, infra red light, NIMMO {a soft tissue /Trp work}

on my own I use -
Far InfraRed Heating pad
EMS stim
self applied triggerpoint therapy
self applied acupressure
Vitamins & supplements that I research and choose

I'd like to try one of those Chi machines - just for the heck of it -but haven't been willing to part with the dollars yet

So I'm kind of into alternative stuff but not high dollar, risky or invasive things.

thanks- i dont think i have p&n either. i do try to exercise for 6 months now-doesnt help with pain-cant stand or walk any further.
remember i went through this with the foot surgeries and fibro and got myself back to work with exercise and grit-
this is different this time.
also told to get spinal stim-
with my bad back, i am not letting them put one of those in at this point.
my two doc cant agree
having trust problems and issues with drugs as you see
i know about hoaxes but look at what the reg med did to me with the foot surgeries!
will look at those sites.
have tried lots of other things.

Hi, I have 'sleepy toes' and my alternative Dr. kindly gave me a prescription to buy the Quadstar II IFC/NMS/TENS stimulator. (Nice little unit)

Please tell me where your therapist puts the electrode pads on your feet?
I'd be grateful for any new IFC foot protocols.

So far the closest I've found is a protocol for neuromas. "Enlarged benign growths of nerves, most commonly between the third and fourth toes.
They are caused by tissue rubbing against and irritating the nerves. Pressure from ill-fitting shoes or abnormal bone structure can create the condition as well."
