Hey all,
I'm going on Monday for an MRI on my neck. I've had an "Essential Tremor" in my neck for over ten years and it has caused lots of pain and stiffness in my neck. Doc wants to see if it is related to the PN in any way. My chin constantly pulls to the left and head tilts to the right. Head turns to the left when I'm concentrating. When I'm trying to "hold still" my head shakes back and forth from side to side. When I mentioned that my hands are now starting to tingle, he suggested I get an MRI on my neck. Any of you have any ideas / suggestions on the relationship between essential tremors in the neck and PN? Terri |

I'm surprised about is,....that only the NECK is being tested..not anything above or below...
I guess, I was lucky w/docs that had decided to do the whole she-bang to ELIMINATE anything spinal? Thing is, IF after X years, no recall is made on old films...they're destroyed...I've a few in a back closet that could have been trashed just, 'cause I'd felt...'better to have 'em' than not... That I'd kept them, docs were able to 'compare' stuff [accidents] from prior years and decide truly NOT THAT! As for the 'process' of KEEP STILL? All I can say is that I try to put myself in the bestest, happiest, most relaxed place I've ever been in and try to amplify it by at least 10? In all but one instance have I been able to get thru all the 'stuff'! Warm hugs for now? - j |
